Acumen’s construction manager provided inspection services for the following AC Transit projects:
- Eastmont Mall Transit Center Improvements: Provided on-site construction inspection and administration. Attended project meetings; certified test results performed by others; verified materials for use; and verified proper installation procedures. Reviewed contractor invoices/schedules and made recommendations for payment based on observations of the work completed in accordance with the contract documents, schedule, and contract requirements; prepared inspection reports.
- Richmond Parkway Park and Ride Lot Security Improvements: Provided on-site construction inspection, management and administration services. Responsibilities included attending and facilitating project meetings, certifying results on tests performed by others, coordinating inspections by others (i.e., Caltrans), verifying materials and usage, and verifying installation procedures and project record as-built drawings. Reviewed contractor invoices and schedules, and made recommendations for payment based on observations of the work completed in accord with contract documents and schedule requirements
