Our research and development team is adept at inventing, refining, testing and implementing software and hardware solutions that improve transportation system operation and the rider’s experience. We have delivered large-scale projects/solutions for the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART), California Department of Transportation and the Transit Research Board, among others. Examples include:
- Fare collection systems design, software development and implementation for BART, California High Speed Rail, Golden Gate Ferry, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and Yuma County Area Transit.
- Hardware specification development and implementation for BART’s Bill-to-Bill Changer.
- Software installation and configuration including a smart card access security system for Kaiser Permanente.
